CARMEL — Crews were battling a fire at an apartment building still under construction on Saturday morning at Midtown Plaza in Carmel.
Carmel Fire Department firefighters and emergency personnel were called just before 6 a.m. to an apartment building still under construction, 350 Monon Blvd., on the report of a building fire, according to a tweet from the Carmel Fire Department.
A small fire in a room on the second floor was located, CFD Public Information Officer Tim Griffin said.

The fire was put out within a few minutes, Griffin said.
