INDIANAPOLIS -- You may want to fill up your gas tank soon, if you believe the projections of an analyst.
Patrick DeHaan, a senior petroleum analyst at GasBuddy.com, is predicting a jump in gas prices in midwestern states soon.
Reminder: there will likely be a #gasprice jump SOON in MI, IN, OH, IL, KY, WI, and perhaps surrounding states to the highest lvl of 2016.

DeHaan said the jump could bring the prices to the highest levels of 2016.
According to GasBuddy, the highest average price Indiana has seen this year is $2.53.
DeHaan also said the reason for the jump would be refineries buying gasoline in a tight supply.
@DanGriffinWLWT refinery buying (typically refiners are always sellers of product! So to see a refiner buying tends to lead to chaos)
