GRANT COUNTY, Ind. -- A Van Buren Town Marshal is behind bars after police say he stole prescription medication from a home.

Donald Bosley was arrested by Indiana State Police without incident. He was booked into the Grant County Jail and preliminarily charged with burglary and theft.

Indiana State Police say the resident first reported that medication was missing earlier this year. On Tuesday, he noticed medication was missing, again, and reviewed surveillance footage.

The homeowner recognized the person taking medication from the home, in a full police uniform, to be Bosley.

Bosley was being held on a $20,000 bond.

Indiana State Police was assisted by the Grant County Prosecutor’s Office, the Grant County Sheriff’s Department and the Fairmount Police Department.
