INDIANAPOLIS -- Some IPS schools will be changing busing and start times for the next school year.
The changes will affect about 20 percent of all IPS schools.
IPS schools will fall under two tiers next year. Some will have a day from 7:20 a.m. - 2:10 p.m., and others will be from 9:20 a.m. - 3:55 p.m.
IPS says the different tiers helps keeps resources, such as busing, running efficiently. The new plan passed Thursday evening with a 7-0 vote.
