AVON, Ind. -- The Town of Avon has been named the 17th best place to live in America by "Money" Magazine.
For 2017, "Money" listed the top 100 areas that offer, “a healthy economy, affordable homes, and a high quality of life.”
"Money" points out Avon’s music traditions, the acres of park land, the town’s smoking ban, and commitment to healthy living as notable features of the town.
The Town of Avon will celebrate its high ranking with residents on Friday, November 17 at the Town Hall. Residents are invited from 6 - 8:30 a.m. to pick up a cup of coffee or cocoa and a muffin from Big Apple Bagel on their way into work or school. They will provide everything for free with a drive thru for a quick stop for Avon residents.
