Man arrested for stabbing another man to death in New Castle

NEW CASTLE, Ind. — A man was arrested after fatally stabbing another man Saturday afternoon in New Castle.

New Castle Police Department officers and emergency responders were called around 12:15 p.m. to the area of Ross Street and Parkview Drive, near the New Castle Middle and High School, on the report of a man who had been stabbed.

Police arrived and found Barry Keith, 63, who was suffering from stab wounds. He was transported by medics to Henry County Health Hospital where he later died.

Robert Dunn, 51, was located at a residence near the crime scene with blood on his clothing and hands.

Dunn was arrested and charged with the suspicion of murder.

At this time, police say they are still investigating the incident.
