INDIANAPOLIS — There are several ways for you to celebrate and honor Martin Luther King Jr. this year in Central Indiana.

Here are some events you can participate in:

  • 6:44 p.m. Wednesday-Monday: A presentation honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. can be seen at Monument Circle through Monday.
  • Sunday: Newfields is offering free admission to its MLK Day: Speaking Love event. Advanced tickets are required.
  • Monday: The Children's Museum of Indianapolis is offering free admission to a series of events, activities, and exhibits.
  • Monday: The Eiteljorg Museum is offering free admission.
  • Monday: White River State Park is offering free admission to visitors and holding a virtual food drive with Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana.
  • 6 p.m. Monday: The City of Carmel is hosting a virtual celebration from the Palladium at The Center for the Performing Arts. Click here to find out how you can watch.
