INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Animal Care Services shelter is hosting a "Clear the Shelter" event Saturday due to extreme overcrowding.
Due to the high temperatures lately in Central Indiana, the shelter has taken in more than 400 animals into the already overcrowded shelter, according to an IACS press release.
The event is being held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 2600 South Harding Street.
