ISP says a small chase started as troopers attempted to take the person into custody for multiple warrants at a nearby hotel.
Troopers say the suspect ran after troopers saw him in the hotel lobby. The suspect and troopers then started a car chase, and the suspect eventually drove over a curb and embankment before ending up in a pond.
The suspect was able to get out of the car and a trooper saw a gun in his hand.

"The trooper gave several commands to drop the weapon before the exchange of gunfire," ISP said in a press release Monday afternoon.
The suspect was shot at least once and taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Troopers say the vehicle was reported stolen in Terre Haute on Feb. 24.
Sundance Apartments tells WRTV they are working with authorities, but had no further comment.
One of the warrants being served was for firearms charges, according to ISP.
On Tuesday, ISP identified the trooper as Nick Price and four year veteran of the Indiana State Police.
This is a developing story.
