INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis Department of Public Works crews are preparing for potential winter weather conditions Sunday evening and into Monday morning.

Starting at 11 a.m. Sunday, 80 plow truck drivers will work 12-hour shifts to begin pre-treating major thoroughfares and secondary streets into Tuesday morning, according to a press release from Indianapolis DPW.

Once plow trucks start pre-treating the roads, the Indy Snow Force Viewer, an online system which allows people to track plow trucks, will be activated, according to the release.
