INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Four organizations and two individuals have been awarded $42,000 in grants to advance Indianapolis’ emerging culture in design, film and new media.
Mayor Joe Hogsett’s office says the first round of Create Indy initiative grants were announced Monday. The grants range from $2,500 to $9,500.
Create Indy was launched in August and includes two new grant programs to help jump-start a city-wide investment strategy. It is funded by a coalition of community partners.
A second round of grants will award up to $50,000 within the music and food and beverage categories. Applicants may submit a request for up to $10,000.
