INDIANAPOLIS – At least nine people have been shot, three of them fatally, since midnight Saturday in Indianapolis.
Police were called around 1:30 a.m. Saturday to the area of East 42nd Street and Mitthoeffer Road on the report of two people shot. When they arrived, police found a 15-year-old male and an 18-year-old male who had been shot. Both victims were transported to area hospitals.
One man who was shot around 3:30 a.m. Saturday, crashed an SUV into an apartment complex in the 400 block of Windhill Drive. IMPD said the man was transported to a hospital in stable condition.

Around 10 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to the 5900 block of Northland Road and found a 58-year-old man who appeared to have been shot during a home invasion.
According to a police report, three suspects stole a television, video game counsel and a DVD player.
A man was shot and killed around 1:15 p.m. Saturday in the 10200 block of Penrith Drive. Police do not have any suspect information, according to a police report.

An altercation around 6:30 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of West 38th Street and North High School Road left one man dead. IMPD said he was shot in a vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Around 9:30 p.m. Saturday, police were called to the 4200 block of Burkhart Drive on the report of a person shot. When emergency responders arrived, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another man was shot just after 10:15 p.m. on Saturday in the 2500 block of Baltimore Avenue. At this time, IMPD has not listed any possible suspects in a police report.
IMPD officers were called around 3:20 a.m. on Sunday to the 200 block of South Meridian Street, near Bankers Life Fieldhouse, on the report of shots fired. When officers arrived, they found a man who had been shot.
