INDIANAPOLIS – The annual Point-in-Time (PIT) count reveals that the number of people experiencing homelessness in Marion County remains flat in 2020.
The count was conducted on Jan. 22 to give a snapshot of the state of homelessness in the county.
The number of people experiencing homelessness was counted to be 1,588, up from last year’s 1,567.
The annual count is required for communities to receive funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
