Immigration rally planned for Sunday in Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS -- A local couple is planning an immigration resistance rally this weekend in Indianapolis.

The rally will be held at 1 p.m. this Sunday at the Irvington Branch Library.

It's being organized by Harlon Wilson and his husband Luis Gonzalez plan to share their story at the rally. Gonzalez is an undocumented immigrant and was facing deportation this fall. 

A judge decided to re-open the case against Gonzalez with a motion to reconsider. 

Wilson said the rally is not a political event and is an event to educate the community.
