IMPD safely locates missing woman

INDIANAPOLIS — Serana Coffey has been safely located, according to a press release Sunday morning from police.

"IMPD detectives would like to thank the Indianapolis community for their ongoing assistance in locating missing persons," the release read.

INDIANAPOLIS — Police in Indianapolis are searching for a missing woman who was possibly forced into a car while working at a Speedway Saturday morning.

Serana Coffey, 31, was possibly forced into a gray Tahoe while working at the Speedway at 5415 E. 65th St., according to a press release from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department. She is described as being 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 200 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.

She was possibly forced into the Tahoe by a black male wearing dark pants and a dark hoodie, according to the release. Another black male wearing a white T-shirt was also involved in the incident.

Coffey may be near St. Louis, Missouri, according to the release.
