Indianapolis DPW crews patching potholes over weekend

INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis Department of Public Works crews are strip patching parts of some roads and filling potholes on Friday and Saturday.

Crews began working on the roads at 7 a.m. Saturday to fill more than 5,600 potholes, Charnay Pickett, Indianapolis DPW public information officer said.

Indianapolis DPW said crews worked on filling potholes in the areas listed below:

  • West Washington Street from Harding Street to South Lynhurst Drive
  • College Avenue from 36th Street to 96th Street
  • Meridian Street from 40th Street to 96th Street
  • Ditch Road from W. 73rd to 96th Street
  • 29th Street from Meridian Street to Park Avenue
  • Harcourt Road from Westlane Road to W 75th Place
  • Sargent Road from Sargent Ridge to 86th Street
  • Bash Street from 82nd Street to 87th Street
  • 38th Street from Tacoma Avenue to Franklin Road
  • 42nd Street from Franklin Road to German Church Road
  • 16th Street from Sherman Drive to Mitthoeffer Road
  • Emerson Avenue from Washington Street to 56th Street
  • Prospect Avenue from Southeastern Avenue to Keystone Avenue
  • Heartland Boulevard from Centenary Drive to Alyeworth Drive
  • 79th Street from Charlecot Drive to Walnut Drive
  • 7300 Raymond Street
  • 5300 Southeastern Avenue
