INDIANAPOLIS – As people in Florida begin to assess the damage left behind by Hurricane Michael, Midwest Food Bank is preparing to deliver family food boxes when requested.
Once requested by The Salvation Army, four semi-trucks will deliver enough food to feed a family of four for at least four days to Florida.
Midwest Food Bank estimates that up to 25 semi-truck loads of food will be delivered to Florida.
Those looking to help the food bank can call 317-786-8980 for more information.
If you would like to donate to the food bank, you can do so online or send them by mail to Midwest Food Bank, 6450 S. Belmont Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46217.
