INDIANAPOLIS — Pop star Justin Timberlake has postponed all of his upcoming December concerts, Indianapolis included, as he recovers from bruised vocal cords. 

Timberlake was scheduled to perform at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Friday, Dec. 14, as part of his "The Man of the Woods" tour.

"My vocal cords are healing, but they are not all the way back to normal yet, so my doctors want me to continue to rest my voice," Timberlake wrote on Instagram. "They have asked me to hold off on singing until next month."

Bankers Life Fieldhouse posted on Twitter that the rescheduled concert will take place on April 2. Tickets will be honored for the rescheduled date.

The postponed Omaha, Kansas City, St. Louis, Indianapolis, Philadelphia, Buffalo, a second Buffalo show, and Uncasville, Conn., according to Variety
