INDIANAPOLIS -- A man was hospitalized Thursday morning after he was struck by a vehicle while walking in the road on Indianapolis' north side.
The incident happened near the intersection of 38th and Illinois streets at about 4 a.m.
Police on the scene say the victim is a man in his 60s. He was hospitalized in serious condition.
The person who hit him stopped their vehicle and are cooperating with police.
The victim was pushing a cart when he was struck.
