INDIANAPOLIS -- An errant ladder in the middle of the interstate caused a crash and slowdown Friday morning on I-65.

The crash happened in the northbound lanes of I-65, near 38th Street at about 11:30 a.m.

A blue ladder in the interstate caused the driver of a white Honda vehicle to swerve into the path of a black Chevy Silverado. The Silverado flipped from the hit, according to the Indianapolis Fire Department.

The truck's 61-year-old male driver and 65-year-old female passenger were slightly injured from the crash.

Traffic was delayed for a couple hours while crews cleaned up the crash.
