INDIANAPOLIS -- Four people, including two children, were injured Thursday morning in a crash on Indianapolis' southwest side.
The crash happened around 9 a.m., near the intersection of Holt Road and Minnesota Street.
An investigator said a car was traveling southbound on Holt Road when traffic came to a sudden stop in front of her just north of the intersection.
She swerved her car into the northbound lane and was hit head-on by a semi. The woman suffered serious injuries. Two children in the car with her were taken to Riley Hospital in stable condition. They were properly restrained in the vehicle.
The driver of the semi suffered minor injuries.
