INDIANAPOLIS -- After an Indianapolis police officer tasked with escorting President Donald Trump crashed his motorcycle Wednesday, he received a call from the president while at the hospital.

In a video released Thursday by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, Officer Rob Turner was seen lying down with a neck brace on, while somebody else held a cell phone to his ear.

It is unknown what exactly Trump said, but the officer responded with:

"I understand. ... Yes, sir. ... [Laughs] Okay. ... I believe so. ... I'm not sure, I haven't had the X-ray on it yet."

Turner has been released from the hospital, according to IMPD.

On its Facebook page, IMPD thanked Trump for delaying his Air Force One departure.
