INDIANAPOLIS -- Indianapolis-based sales and tech company TinderBox is adding more than 200 new jobs to Indianapolis as part of a rebrand.
The company will be known as Octiv beginning Monday.
"Octiv’s impressive growth over the last six years is a testament to its innovative leadership, its team of hardworking Hoosier employees and the burgeoning tech community here in central Indiana,” Ind. Gov. Mike Pence said.
The company, in addition to adding more than 200 jobs, will also be moving to the second floor of the Lacy Building at 54 Monument Circle. It's the second expansion for the company since it started in 2010 in Broad Ripple.
Octiv supports more than 400 customers with a cloud-based platform that helps with sales proposals.
“From TinderBox's days as a startup in DeveloperTown, to their growing global operations in the heart of downtown Indianapolis, the company is truly a local success story. Today’s announcement speaks volumes to the strength of our local tech community and paves a path toward continued growth,” said Mayor Joe Hogsett.
Octiv will receive up to $5.1 million in tax credits and up to $200,000 in training grants based on its plans to add the jobs.
The new positions are account management, development and sales positions. They are expected to offer average salaries nearly double what the Marion County average wage currently is.
