INDIANAPOLIS — A man died on Thursday while at the Marion County Sheriff's Office Intake Facility after allegedly ingesting cocaine.
Jermaine Cole, 34, allegedly told other inmates and correctional officers he ingested cocaine while after he was arrested around 3 p.m. Thursday, Marion County Sheriff's Lt. Mitch Gore said in a press release.
Cole died while going to the hospital, Gore said.
Cole was arrested on five warrants, Gore said.
The incident is under investigation.
