INDIANAPOLIS -- One man was hospitalized Tuesday morning after he was shot on Indianapolis' northeast side.
The shooting happened around 1:40 a.m., near the intersection of 28th Street and Lasalle Street.
Police had a small, 20-yard area blocked off as crime lab technicians were putting down evidence markers in the rain.
The victim, Edward Figueres, 34, was taken to IU Methodist Hospital in critical condition.
Police haven't released any information about a possible suspect.
