INDIANAPOLIS -- A man was killed at his workplace on Indianapolis' near-south side early Thursday morning.
Police were called to Plastic Recycling Center at 2015 S. Pennsylvania St. around 1:30 a.m.
They arrived at the scene to find the 31-year-old man lying facedown on the ground, according to a police report. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The night foreman said a machine was clogged and the man went into the machine to unclog it. After he did that, the machine turned on.
The Marion County Coroner will determine a cause of death.
