INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indiana University basketball team is donating shoes and shirts to people in Houston as they recover from Hurricane Harvey.
IU's Twitter account showed two cardboard boxes filled of shoes and another box with shirts.
Houston Cougars head basketball coach Kelvin Sampson asked for colleges to send shoes and shirts to the University of Houston Basketball center.

Many other schools, such as Xavier, Seton Hall, Alabama and Creighton have already donated to Houston.
Sampson was IU's head coach from 2006-2008.
