MARTINSVILLE, Ind. -- It wouldn't be October in Indiana without the Martinsville Fall Foliage Festival.
Up to 40,000 people are expected at the four-day event which runs from Thursday, October 12 to Sunday, October 15.
There are dozens of attractions and activities, beginning with Thursday’s Farmers Day at the Morgan County Fairgrounds. Most events are in downtown Martinsville.
Musicians perform each evening at the free stage, and there are carnival rides, cook-offs and a vehicle swap meet on Saturday, starting at 8 a.m.
A 5K run and walk takes place Sunday morning, and there’s an open-air church service at 10 a.m.
It all comes to an end on Sunday at 1 p.m. with the 58th Fall Foliage Festival Parade.
