WESTFIELD, Ind. -- A mosquito sample from Westfield, Indiana has tested positive for West Nile Virus.
The mosquito came from Quaker Park, which is near 176th Street, west of U.S. 31.
When West Nile mosquitoes are found in Hamilton County, spraying will take place at sunset, covering an square mile area near the sampled area.
The spray is not harmful to humans or pets.
The spray will cover from approximately Grand Park to Poplar Street to Spring Mill Road, to South Park Drive.
