INDIANAPOLIS -- A motorcyclist was killed in a crash Sunday evening on Indianapolis' south side.
The crash happened around 5 p.m., on the 7300 block of S. Meridian Street.
Police say the motorcyclist was heading south on Meridian when a vehicle exited a parking lot to go north. The motorcyclist was unable to stop in time and was thrown from the bike. He wasn't wearing a helmet.
The motorcyclist was taken to Eskenazi Health in extremely critical condition, where he later died.
Nobody else was hurt.
Police don't believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.
The identity of the motorcyclist has not been released.
