MUNCIE — After challenging kids to a snowball fight in the winter, the Muncie Police Department has issued a new challenge to the kids: a water balloon fight.
At 4:30 p.m. on July 10, officers will meet with the community at Heekin Park, on the city's south side, for a water balloon fight, according to a Facebook post from the department.
Those attending should bring a buck of water balloons with them to the event.
