EDINBURGH, Ind. -- A Johnson County explosive disposal crew was called to a wooded area Thursday after a somebody found a grenade.
The Indiana Department of Natural Resources and a Johnson County Sheriff's Department Hazardous Devices Team responded to the Atterbury Fish and Wildlife area in Edinburgh, Indiana.
A person hunting mushrooms saw the grenade on the ground and didn't touch it, but instead called the police.
The county Explosive Ordinance Disposal team determined it wasn't live and was free of explosive contents.
