INDIANAPOLIS — One person is dead after a crash Saturday evening on Interstate 70 westbound near Post Road in Indianapolis.
Indiana State Police troopers were called to the crash involving two cars around 7:45 p.m., ISP Sgt. John Perrine said. The driver of one of the vehicles, who was not wearing a seat belt, was killed in crash.
The driver of the other vehicle involved was taken to Eskenazi Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, Perrine said.
Accident investigators believe the vehicle driven by the driver who was killed swerved into the path of another vehicle, Perrine said.
The identities of the people involved in the crash have not been released as authorities have not been able to notify their family.
