One killed, others injured in Zionsville crash

ZIONSVILLE, Ind. -- One person was killed and multiple others were injured Wednesday afternoon in a head-on crash in Zionsville. 

Around 2:40 p.m., police responded to reports of a crash near the 8200 block of Oak Street. 

Police say Isabelle Diagostino, 16, was driving westbound in a Kia Rondo when she crossed the center line and struck a Chrysler Voyager.

Driving the Voyager was Jennifer Kahrs, 52. Kahrs was extricated and taken to St. Vincent's Hospital with broken legs, hips and a broken foot. 

Also in the van was Mildred McFadden, 82. She was taken to the hospital with severe injuries, but was pronounced dead at the hospital. A third passenger, a 7-year-old, was also in the Voyager. She was taken to Riley Hospital with internal injuries.

Diagostino was taken to St. Vincent's Hospital with minor injuries.
