LAWRENCE, Ind. -- A woman was struck in a hit-and-run in Lawrence Wednesday morning.
The woman was hit near the intersection of Post Road and Pendleton Pike.
She was taken to Methodist Hospital in serious condition.
Police in Lawrence are looking for a two-door tan Chevrolet Blazer from the late 1990s to the early 2000s. The vehicle has front-end damage. They are working with a nearby gas station to see if any surveillance footage can be used in the investigation.
Southbound Post Road was closed at Pendleton Pike, but has reopened.
