INDIANAPOLIS -- One man is dead after he was struck by an SUV which then crashed into a house on Indianapolis' east side.
The crash happened around 7 a.m., in the 2500 block of Brookside Parkway S. Drive.
Police say an SUV hit a man walking on the sidewalk before it crashed into a house. He later died.
Two people in the SUV were taken to Methodist and Eskenazi Hospitals in serious condition.
One person had head injuries. The other had broken legs, police said.
The car was so mangled from the crash, fire crews had to extricate the victims.
There were two people at the house at the time of the crash. Neither was hurt.
