Man 'very lucky' after shooting on Indy's north side

INDIANAPOLIS -- A person was injured in a shooting on Indianapolis' north side, but not by the bullets.

The shooting happened around 4 a.m., in the 2500 block of Dr. Andrew J Brown Avenue.

Police say a man driving a car in the area was shot at in a drive-by.

Eight rounds were fired him, but he was only hurt by glass shards from the window. The victim was taken to the hospital with cuts to his face.

Police followed the suspect's car, but lost it somewhere on 28th Street.

Police say the victim is very lucky to not get shot.
