INDIANAPOLIS -- One person was shot early Monday morning near Lawrence, Indiana.
The shooting happened around 4 a.m., in the 9400 block of Stouffer Court, near the intersection of 42nd Street and Post Road.
A spokesperson with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said they were shot in the leg.
The victim was awake and breathing when police arrived.
