INDIANAPOLIS -- Police have identified a suspect in an east side killing from last week.
A man was shot and killed the morning of April 11 on Indianapolis' east side.
The shooting happened around 4:30 a.m., on the 2800 block of Pleasant Run Parkway North Drive. The shooting was between people who knew each other, police said.
The suspect has been identified as Zechariah James, 30. James is a black man, about 5-foot-11-inches tall, weighs about 200 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
He should be considered armed and dangerous and shouldn't be approached. Anybody with information on where James is should call Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana at (317) 262-8477 (TIPS) or IMPD lead Homicide Detective Gary Toms at (317) 327- 3961.
He is being charged with murder and unlawful possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon.
Police say there was a witness to the shooting.

The victim was later identified as 34-year-old Antoan Johnson.
