INDIANAPOLIS -- One person was shot Monday afternoon on Indianapolis' west side.
The shooting happened around 1 p.m., on the 8700 block of W. Washington Street.
According to a dispatcher with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, the victim is in serious condition.
There are no suspects in custody.
