INDIANAPOLIS -- Police are trying to figure out exactly what happened in a crash and shooting Thursday morning on Indianapolis' near north side.
Police responded to a call around 12:30 near the intersection of 34th and Meridian streets to find a man running on Meridian. He was stopped and was bleeding from a wound on his left arm.

The man's car had hit a stoplight power box and took out traffic lights near the intersection.
Police also found bullet holes in the trunk of his car, as well as in a bus stop nearby.

The man was taken to Eskenazi Health in good condition.
