INDIANAPOLIS -- A man is in critical condition after a shooting on Indianapolis' near east side Monday morning.
The shooting happened around 4:30 a.m, near the 1000 block of Temple Avenue.
Police say the victim walked to a gas station a few blocks away after the shooting, where police and paramedics were called.
He was shot in the abdomen.
Police are interviewing potential witnesses who were in the area at the time of the shooting. They have not released any information about a possible suspect.
