INDIANAPOLIS -- A hotel, office space and retail space is planned for the former General Motors plant site west of downtown Indianapolis.
The property was sold to Ambrose Property Group, which submitted a proposal for 2.7 million square feet of development and investment of more than $550 million for apartments, office space, retail space and a hotel along the White River.
An estimated 915 full-time jobs will be created from the development.
Ambrose was one of four firms that submitted proposals. There are 103 acres on the property.
