INDIANAPOLIS -- Police are asking for your help to identify a suspect believed to be involved in a bank robbery Monday on Indianapolis' southeast side.
The KeyBank at 4645 Emerson Ave. was robbed around 10:30 a.m.
Witnesses told police a man came into the bank and passed a note to a teller. The suspect ran from the bank with the money.
"I saw him," Richard Arthur said. "I was able to give the cops a good description ... Hopefully they can get people like him. It's sad that people can't work for a living and have to steal from people."
The suspect is identified as white man, approximately 5'6", wearing a dark baseball cap, blue sweatshirt with a red t-shirt covering the sweatshirt, a clear poncho, and gray sweatpants.
Anyone with information about the suspect's identity or information about the robbery is asked to call Crime Stoppers of Indiana at (317) 262- TIPS.
