Person killed in single-vehicle Shelby Co. crash

SHELBY COUNTY, Ind. -- One person was killed in a crash early Sunday morning in Shelby County, Indiana.

The crash happened just after midnight, near the intersection of Morristown Road and C.R. 300 E. 

Shelby County investigators believe the vehicle, driven by Brock Roark, 37, was traveling eastbound when it went off the road, spun sideways and crashed into two trees.

Roark was flown to Methodist Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

No further information is available.
