ZIONSVILLE, Ind. -- More than 500 new jobs are coming to Zionsville, Indiana in the next four years as a software firm plans an expansion.

MOBI, an Indiana-based company founded in 2009, will increase its space from 60,000 to 110,000 square feet, adding 521 new jobs in the process.

"MOBI's expansion is a true testament to the high level of economic success and talent recruitment that Zionsville is experiencing," said Zionsville Mayor Tim Haak. "We are happy to be their partners in incentivizing an expansion in our community, continuing this wave of growth and innovation in Zionsville."

The Indiana Economic Development Corporation will give MOBI up to $2.9 million in conditional tax credits and up to $200,000 in training grants based on the company’s plans.

MOBI won't get the incentives until people are hired for the expansion.

Boone County and the town of Zionsville approved additional incentives at the request of the Boone County Economic Development Corporation.

MOBI uses cloud-based software to help manage mobile devices. One of its clients is an airline company. MOBI manages all 40,000 iPhones and iPads used by flight attendants and staff.
