INDIANAPOLIS -- Surveillance video released by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department shows a suspected serial robber entering a convenience store and nonchalantly stealing cash with a gun pointed at the clerk even as other customers enter the store around him.

Video in the player above shows a man enter the Circle K store located at 2434 N. Keystone Avenue around 7:45 a.m. on Sept. 3 and appear to try and purchase a pack of gum. He then points a gun at the clerk at the checkout desk and demands cash. Video shows him jog out of the store, tucking the gun in his right pocket with stolen cash in-hand.

Other customers entered the store, even forming a line behind the suspect as he directs the clerk to give him cash with the gun still pointed at her.

IMPD released the surveillance footage Tuesday afternoon. The department believes this is the same man involved in the robberies of a Crown Liquors store and a Big Red Liquors store on the north side of town earlier this summer. You can see several photos of him in the tweet below. IMPD says his common feature in the robberies has been a bucket hat of varying color.

Anyone with information about the robbery suspect described is asked to call Crime Stoppers of Indiana at (317) 262-TIPS(8477). He is believed to be armed with a handgun.
