INDIANAPOLIS -- A temporary American Girl store will open at the Fashion Mall in Keystone for the 2017 holiday season.
The 3,000 square-foot store opened Saturday, Aug. 5 and close Jan. 28, 2018.
It will feature a variety of American Girl dolls, outfits and accessories.
The store had become popular in Castleton where last year's store drawing hundreds of girls and their parents.
During the opening weekend of Aug. 5 and 6, anybody in attendance will get a free gift and craft and are entered to win a 2017 Girl of the Year collection. The collection features the 18-inch Gabriela doll and paperback book, Gabriela’s accessories, and Gabriela’s pet cat plush.

Last year, Toys-R-Us announced a partnership with American Girl and put two shops in stores.
The two Indiana stores are at 1650 E. County Line Road in Greenwood and 9251 E. Washington St., near Washington Square Mall.
