INDIANAPOLIS — Thousands of pounds of medication were collected on Saturday during Drug Take Back Day events in Central Indiana.
Drug Take Back Day, a nationwide event, allows for people to safely get rid of unneeded or expired medication.
Almost 1,500 pounds of medication were collected at four Community Health locations in Central Indiana, Julie Oelschlager, Community Health communications manager said.
