CLINTON COUNTY — Two people were injured Sunday afternoon after a crash involving a tractor on US 52 in Clinton County.

The crash happened around 2 p.m. in the 3000 block of US 52, east of Frankfort, Tyler Mohr, a Perry Township firefighter and public information officer, said in a Facebook post.

Bystanders were able to help get one person out of the car and one person was still trapped in the SUV when emergency personnel arrived, Mohr said. They were both taken to the hospital for multiple injuries. Their exact conditions are unknown at this time.

The driver of the tractor was also taken to the hospital for evaluation, Mohr said.

The identities of those involved have not been released.

Indiana State Police troopers assisted with traffic in the area, ISP Sgt. Kim Riley said in an email.

WRTV has reached out to the Clinton County Sheriff's Office for additional information on the crash and is awaiting a response.
